    Saratoga Police Department received a report of a mountain lion sighting at the hot pools on Wednesday, February 1. . Saratoga Police Chief Mike Morris said that a dead deer was reported near the hot pools before the sighting of the lion. Wyoming Game and Fish was notified and removed the deer which showed some evidence of possible lion activity.     The Carbon County Sheriff’s office received a missing person report on the evening of Thursday, January 19. Searchers were called out to try and locate a missing Saratoga man. The victim, Neal Lee Forbes, was found approximately four hours after the call came in to dispatch.     The loss of Tyeler Harris had a huge impact on not only Carbon County, but across the country. Harris was killed when he was struck by a semi while responding to a crash on Interstate 80 on December 21, 2022.
