The Saratoga Police Department has major concerns about multiple incidents that have been reported regarding people passing school buses that are stopped to load or unload students. The police department recently posted a reminder on their Facebook page reminding drivers that it is illegal to pass a school bus with flashing red lights. Saratoga Police Department received a report of a mountain lion sighting at the hot pools on Wednesday, February 1. . Saratoga Police Chief Mike Morris said that a dead deer was reported near the hot pools before the sighting of the lion. Wyoming Game and Fish was notified and removed the deer which showed some evidence of possible lion activity. The first game the Panthers played was against the Southeast Cyclones in Laramie at the University of Wyoming's basketball arena on Friday. This past weekend the Little Snake River Valley (LSRV) High School basketball team come to the Valley and played Encampment and Saratoga. The results were mixed.
