They later moved to the Sand Hills to work on ranches where Hazel met and married Shorty Ballard on Feb. 14, 1954. They were married almost 65 years.     The Saratoga Panthers wrestling team has been hit by injuries, health problems and attrition to a point that the team is down to seven grapplers.
