    The Saratoga Panthers boys track team competed at state for three days. Grant Bartlett led the way placing 2nd in both the 1600 Meter Run and 3200 Meter Run with the times of 4:51.96 and 10:34.37. The Panthers finished in 7th place with 40 team points.     The Encampment Tigers finished their boys and girls season at state in Casper, Wyoming from Thursday May 18 to Saturday May 20. All the teams from around the state came to compete and the tigers went to work in the 1A classification. PIckett came away as both the 1A boys state champion in the shot put and the discus.     With their impressive performance at Regionals, the Lady Panthers Track Team solidified many individual’s positions in various events to have an opportunity to repeat as state champs. The 4x100, 4x400, 4x800,and sprint medley relay teams dominated the meet with first place finishes. These performances alone led to 40 team points.     The Encampment Tigers High School boys and girls track teams competed in Regionals held in Shoshoni on May 12 and May 13. The meet was hosted by Shoshoni High School. For team points, the girls placed 6th with 48 points and the boys also placed 6th with 55 points. Quade Jordan and Kaben Pickett placed 1st and 2nd in both Shot Put and Discus.     Tigers boys and girls place 2nd in Rawlins and teams get in some events in Torrington before Mother Nature throws a bolt from the blue and cancels the meet.
