Her death was the result of injuries she sustained from a fall, at her house on September 7’th.     On October 3, Dorothy “Dot” Severns became the first member of the Encampment Sunshine Rebekah Lodge No. 20 to be awarded the “Rebekah of the Year.” Dot was unable to accept the award, having passed away earlier this year, but her children were in attendance to accept on her behalf.
