Tigers headed to Six-Man All-Star Game

Two Encampment players, head coach to represent Wyoming

It was recently announced that Briston Sifford, Ben Wagy and Head Coach Kegan Willford would represent Encampment at the Six-Man

Wyoming vs. Nebraska All-Star Game this summer. Sifford and Wagy are seniors this year and have been with the program through its inception.

Encampment finished the season with a 6-2 record overall. The Tigers were eliminated from the playoffs in the semifinal round by the Little Snake River Valley (LSRV) Rattlers with a final score of 71-8.

This is the third year players from Encampment have represented the relatively new program on the Wyoming team. In 2022, Michael Anderson, Caysen Barkhurt, and Koye Gilbert were selected to the roster.

In 2021, Dalton Peterson represented Tiger Nation in the All-Star Game.

Last year Wyoming was victorious with a final score of 68-44. In 2021, Nebraska defeated Wyoming 48-14. Wyoming leads the series 6-5. This will be the 12th game in the Wyoming vs Nebraska Six-Man All Star Game.

This is the third time Encampment will be represented at the Six-Man All-Star Game since the program was started in 2019.

The Six-Man All-Star Game will be played at 7 p.m. on June 2 at Chadron State College in Chadron, Nebraska.
