Volleyball players honored for their hard work and skills

Senior Whitney Bennett's (7) volleyball record stands alone. Bennett slammed down 326 kills this season, with 571 digs. It comes as no surprise that Bennett has been named Player of the Year.

Congratulations to the Carbon County School District No. 2 all-conference champions: Saratoga Lady Panthers Whitney Bennett, Hanna Lathrop and Makenna King; Encampment Tigers Kyenna Jackson and Cora Schroeder; Hanna, Elk Mountain, Medicine Bow (HEM) McKaylee Widdison.

Cora Schroeder, senior, ends the season with 229 kills and 119 digs.

All Conference is an honor given to the best athletes in a given league. It is a prestigious accomplishment and is only awarded to those athletes who have demonstrated superior skill and dedication to their sport. Being named an all-conference team member is a significant achievement and can further an athlete's career. These athletes are typically looked up to by teammates, serve as role models and leaders. All conference athletes have worked hard to achieve success, and earn highest respect of peers and coaches alike.
