Panthers Pouncing Their Way To Regionals

Saratoga has another impressive week in state championship qualifications

It is crunch time for the Saratoga Panthers track and field team.

With only two weeks left in the season, Head Coach Rex Hohnholt knows that the time is now to prepare for regionals and state. Hohnholt said it has been a great week for his team, especially having back-to-back meets on May 3 and 4 at the Thermopolis Invitational and the Shane Brock Invitational.

The next step for Hohnholt’s team is to prepare for the next two weekends. He and his coaching staff are working together on how they will help their athletes advance to the next level.

“I thought our team performed very well this past weekend and was excited to have a couple of new athletes qualify for the state track and field championships,” Hohnholt said. “This past weekend gave us a good look at what we can expect from our athletes, now we just have to put them in events that they can have the most success at. We have a good body of work to go by and now it is just a matter of the athletes and coaches brainstorming what we think is best for them and the team.”
