Encampment track sends small team to Wind River Invite, Peterson and Miller place

A blizzard descending upon the Valley didn’t keep the Encampment Tigers from sending five members of their track team to Pavillion to compete in the Wind River Invite on Saturday.
“We had a small team this week due to most of our athletes not having enough practices,” said Kegan Willford, head coach of Encampment track.
Despite the small team, Encampment made its presence known as two members of the team placed in three events over the weekend. Dalton Peterson placed 6th in shot put with a distance of 36’8” while Kyler Miller placed 4th in 110 meter hurdles with a time of 18.33 a...
