Still time to help make someone's Christmas brighter
The VSO Giving Tree at Town and Country Realty still has tags to be claimed.
The 2018 Giving Tree, a project of the Valley Service Organization (VSO), is still up at Town and Country Realty, but it won't be there for much longer. There is still time for people with kind hearts and souls to take a tag from the tree and make a child's Christmas even brighter.
Kassey Westring, the Giving Tree Chairman for the VSO, explained the tags in a recent press release. The tags, while providing information on the children, does not include names and all information is destroyed following the project. The information contained on the tags include: Christmas wishes, needs, size, age and color preference.
Gifts are to be delivered, unwrapped, to Town and Country Realty no later than Saturday, Dec. 15 with the corresponding tags. The gifts will then be distributed to the parents of the children at Big Brothers/Big Sisters the following week.
