The big blast of Winter weather that settled in last week put a freeze on the high school sports schedule for Encampment and Saratoga schools. The SMHS wrestling team did have a full weekend, participating in a three-team match in Walden on Friday, then in a tournament in Pavillion on Saturday. See Jason Campbell’s outstanding coverage and photos on page B1. The Saratoga boy’s and girl’s basketball games scheduled for Saturday were not played.
