Union presents donation to Must Love Dogs Sanctuary
Leading into Christmas every Union office in Wyoming staged a charity fundraiser. The individual offices could select a cause they wanted to support, so the local branch, here in Saratoga, choose the Must Love Dogs Sanctuary. Last Friday, January 5, a check for $275- was presented to Theresa Ramsey, Chairman, of the organization, a registered 501(c3), by Kyle Thompson, manager of the Union office.
Ms. Ramsey commented “We really appreciate Union choosing our organization. This is a slow period for our fundraising efforts and this picked up the slack.”. MLDS uses all funds raised for medical care, training, boarding and food for their furry friends.
Union had a Christmas tree set up with paper ornaments. Any customer or visitor to the office could make a donation and their name was then written on one of the tags.
Must Love Dogs Sanctuary works in close association with the Saratoga Police Department in operating the pound. They assist with expenses and help to find homes for the dogs that get turned in there. Chief Mike Morris also expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by Union.
