The primary suspect in a shooting which took place in the early morning hours of December 16 has been arrested.

Victoria Tidball, who is accused of firing approximately 40 rounds into a residence and vehicle in the 300 block of North Veterans, was arrested in Nebraska on December 27 by the Nebraska State Patrol. She was booked into the Dawson County Jail at 11:44 p.m. The nature of her arrest was not immediately available. According to a press release from the Saratoga Police Department, Tidball has pending charges in Carbon County Circuit Court for Aggravated Assault and Battery and Accessory After the Fact, to wit: Theft. She is currently awaiting extradition back to Wyoming.

Tidball was believed to have fled with Cody Ellenson, a suspect in the burglary of the Whistle Pig Saloon the same weekend as the shooting. It appears, however, Tidball was not with Ellenson at the time of the arrest. He is believed to still be at large and is still considered armed and dangerous. Ellenson was traveling with a dog and is not believed to be in the Saratoga area.

The Saratoga Police Department was aided by the Carbon County Sheriff's Office, Wyoming Department of Criminal Investigation, Wyoming Highway Patrol, Carbon County Attorney's Office, Nebraska State Patrol, Oskaloosa County Florida Sheriff's Office and Saint Joseph Missouri Police Department in apprehending Tidball.

Anyone who has information on these crimes or on the whereabouts of Ellenson is encouraged to contact the Saratoga Police Department at 307-326-8316 or the Carbon County Sheriff's Office at 307-324-2776.

This is a developing story.
