Lady Panthers finish busy week. Prep for regionals.

Last week was a busy one for the Lady Panthers volleyball team, with three matches in the span of four days. They played an away match with Hanna Elk Mountain on Tuesday, October 17th, hosted Little Snake River Valley at SHS on Thursday and then traveled to Niobrara County the next day for a 1:00p match.

The Lady Panthers won their matches with HEM and Niobrara County, and although LSRV won that contest Coach Lisa Teichman noted “that was our strongest defensive match of the entire season”. She went on to add “Our offensive game is starting to come together and the team has stepped up the last few weeks to give us some good wins.”.

The Lady Panthers will head for Riverton this weekend to compete in the regionals. They will open the tournament on Friday at 11:30a against the Dubois Rams. “We are looking to have some great games at regionals.”, Coach Teichman said. The team does seem to be peaking at the best possible time with regionals followed by states held in Casper the weekend of November 2-4.
