From the Platte Valley Ministerial Association

A Fundraising Outreach

Eat, Sing, Give! Do you love an old fashioned Gospel Sing? How about a Gospel Sing that features free hot dogs, chips, popcorn, sodas, and even snow cones? Well, then, head to the Saratoga Museum Pavilion on Sunday, August 13th for a wonderful evening of food and entertainment! The festivities will begin at 6:00 p.m.

The evening is being sponsored by the churches of the Platte Valley Ministerial Association to raise funds to support the cancer journey of the oldest son of Brian and Lila Hopper. Brian and Lila have been serving as Associate Pastors at the Platte Valley Christian Center. Their son Zeke has recently been diagnosed with osteosarcoma, an aggressive form of bone cancer. Zeke is undergoing treatments in Salt Lake City; the treatments are expected to last 29 weeks and Zeke will be hospitalized for at least 16 weeks.

The Hopper family recently moved to Salt Lake to support Zeke in his cancer journey. The family is faced with numerous expenses, including moving, housing, and living expenses for a family of two parents and five children.

The pastors of the Platte Valley Ministerial Association welcome support from valley residents. Please join us for the Gospel Sing on August 13th. Folks who are unable to participate are invited to write a check to PVMA and note “Zeke” on the memo line. The address for the Platte Valley Ministerial Association is P.O. Box 1113, Saratoga, WY 82331. Please join us in praying for Zeke and the Hopper family.
