Mayor Leroy Stephenson put together a request for bids for constructing the new restrooms with the plans for the council to consider.

Snow removal bids were published and Councilmember Fred Lorenz presented two bids that had been received. The bids were read and the council accepted the bid from Platte Valley Forest Management due to the type of equipment they have to mitigate problems with snow removal.

A zoning and building permit concerning Shawn and Linda Brown’s property is still being considered by the council. A motion was made to approve the permit with the stipulation that the shelter be built on Brown’s property and was approved.
