The band, Pert Near Sandstone, played music while the youngersters danced at Encampment's 16th annual music in the park barbecue.
The Town of Encampment sponsored a tasty barbeque and lots of goodies on August 6. The music from "Pert Near Sandstone musicians, Sipe and Kniebel, J Lenz, Justin Bruhn and Matt Cartier gave us a taste of folksy, Americana style music with a modern twist. Due to sound system issues the band moved down on to the grass and gave us all a wonderful show. The little ones got into the act as well when Matt Cartier, the fiddle player showed off his clogging prowess....
