Tigers top ten at Wind River

Encampment track and field does well at first meet of the season

The Encampment Tiger track team traveled north to the  Wind River Invitational Track meet held in Fremont county. The first track meet for the Tigers hosted by Wind River High School ranked both teams in top ten. The Lady Tigers were ranked 9th out of 15 schools and scored 32 team points. On the boys side, the Tigers were ranked 6th out of 14 schools and scored 42 team points.

Girls Results

Starting in the 100 meter dash Eckerley Picket ran a time of 14.49 and placed 11th.

In the 3200 meter run Allison Bromley had a time of 14:19.53 and placed 3rd. 

Jumping into 100 meter hurdles Kristie Jordan ran a time of 18.11 and placed 2nd.

In the 4X100 meter relay the Lady Tigers slashed into the competition taking 1st place with a time of 56.92. Ran by Lady Tigers Kristie Jordan, Cora Schroeder, Allison Bromley, Eckerley Pickett.

In triple jump Allison Bromley had a score of 28-05.50 and placed 7th.

Throwing discus Kristie Jordan placed 2nd with a score of 89-02. Cora Schroeder placed 17th with a score of 62-11.25.

Boys Results

In the 400 meter run Owen Tanner ran a time of 1:16.18 and came in 16th place.

In  the 4X100 meter relay the Tiger Ran a time of 50.66 ran by Quade Jordan, Kaben Pickett, Lane Laborde, and Koye Gilbert. The Tigers placed 3rd. 

In shot put Kaben Pickett placed 5th with a score of 38-01. Koye Gilbert placed 8th with a score of 35-00. Lane Laborde placed 17th with a  score of 30-01.25. Baylin Sifford placed 34th with a score of 25-06. Tyrel Brown placed 36th with ascore of 24-00.25.

The Tigers showed their strength to the competition in discus throw. Quade Jordan placed 1st with a score of 124-01. Kaben Pickett placed 2nd with a score of 114-07. Koye Gilbert placed 6th with a score of 109-06.50. Lane Laborde placed 22nd with a score of 78-05.25.  Baylin Sifford placed 38th with a score o f 63-07. Tyrel Brown placed 41st with a score of 59-01.50.
