Nine Miners to Green River

The Hanna, Elk Mountain, Medicine Bow (HEM) High School Miner track and field team went to Green River on March 25 where they faced competition with eight other teams. Three of those teams came from Carbon County. Encampment, Saratoga and Rawlins sent their teams to Green River.

Although the team had only nine athletes go to Green River on Friday, the Miners still had a good showing at the the Invite having several students place in the top 20.

Avery Scott placed 1st in the 200 meter dash with a time of 28.10. Scott also had a good race coming in 2nd in the 100 meter dash with a time 13.31....
