Rough week for Togie

Panther grapplers take just three to Don Runner Invite

The Saratoga Panther wrestlers traveled to Pavillion to participate in the Don Runner Memorial held at Wind River High School. Unfortunately for the Panther wrestling team, only three wrestlers could attend the event due to illness.

Wrestling at 113 Brian Smith, came in 1-3. At 182, Silas Vannett wrestled 2-3. Finally, wrestling at 192, Quade Jordan was 3-2 for matches. With only three wrestlers, the Panthers were unable to secure a single dual.

Head Coach Jared Mason said, “It was a rough week, and hopefully that was our sickness for the year so we can get back on track for the remainder of the season.”

The next hopeful meet for the Saratoga grapplers will be the HEM Triangular on January 18 and the Dogger Duals held January 22.
