Lady Tigers down Farson-Eden

The Encampment Lady Tiger netters faced off against three teams last week returning home with one win. With all three games away the Lady Tigers hit the road. Playing a total of 12 sets, the Lady Tigers have been busy.

Encampment vs. Walden

First up, the Encampment Lady Tigers faced the North Park Wildcats Tuesday night. Playing a total of four sets, the cat fight ended with the Lady Wildcats taking home the win. The first set ended with only a two point difference. North park took the 1st set 25-23, as well as the 2nd set 25-14. Encampment bit back in the 3rd set winning 26-24. The victory would be short lived with the Lady Wildcats taking the 4th set 25-20, winning the match.

Encampment vs. Saratoga

The Encampment Lady Tigers and Saratoga Lady Panthers had a showdown Thursday night in the Saratoga gym. A fast three sets were hard fought by both teams. The Lady Panthers and Lady Tigers were evenly matched with only 2-3 points difference at the end of every set. Taking the first set 26-24 the Lady Panthers defended their court against the Lady Tigers. Encampment fought hard in the match, not backing down in the 2nd and 3rd set. 25-23 was the final score for the 2nd set of the game with the Lady Panthers continuing to hold their court. Though clawing for the win, the Lady Tigers lost the 3rd set as well 26-24 and the Lady Panthers won the match.

Encampment vs. Farson-Eden

The Encampment Lady Tigers faced off against the Fasron-Eden Lady Pronghorns Saturday playing five sets total. The Lady Pronghorns defended their turf in the 1st set winning 25-12. The Lady Tigers were fast to put their claws out, winning the 2nd set 25-22. The Lady Tigers bit into Farson-Eden in the 3rd set winning 25-23. The Lady Pronghorns and Encampment battled it out in the 4th set with Farson-Eden coming out on top winning 25-19. Encampment was not to be held down in the 5th and final set of the weekend, tearing into the Lady Pronghorns and winning the 5th set 15-5 to take the match 3-2.

The next home game for the Encampment Lady Tigers will be at 4:00p.m. on October 14 against Rock River in Encampment
