Panther cross country places well at Beartrap Invite

The long-distance runners of Saratoga Cross Country appear to be off to a great start this season. 

Despite running at over 8,000 feet elevation at the Kelly Walsh Beatrap Invitational, the thin air of Casper Mountain did little to slow down Head Coach Rex Hohnholt’s new and returning athletes on August 27.

Returning runner Marilee Williams led the women’s varsity team in Casper on Friday. Out of 66 runners, M. Williams placed 19th with a time of 23 minutes, 23 seconds. Rhiwan Williams followed in 24th place as she finished with a time of 24 minutes, 8 seconds. Ma...
