Nathon Christopher Gallant of Rawlins, Wyoming passed away on the evening of June 17 in the Carbon County Detention Center according to a press release from the Carbon County Sheriff’s Office.

Gallant had been placed in the detention center after failing to appear at a jury trial in the Carbon County District Court following a lunch recess. Following an arrest warrant issued by the court, Gallant was arrested without incident by law enforcement. The trial was recessed until June 18 and a $1 million bond was set for Gallant.
