On April 24, 11 students from three communities in Carbon County gathered at the Platte Valley Community Center in Saratoga. The students, who come from Saratoga, Encampment and Hanna, received their Sacrament of Confirmation.
The Sacrament of Confirmation was conducted during a Mass officiated by the Bishop of the Dioceses, the Most Reverend Steven R. Biegler. The students were instructed in the reception of the sacrament by Sarah Butler and Heidi Suttee under the guidance of the religious education director, Cathy Lynch, and Reverend Jason Marco, pastor of St. Ann's in Saratoga and St. Jo...
