Young Catholics recieve Sacrament

On April 24, 11 students from three communities in Carbon County gathered at the Platte Valley Community Center in Saratoga. The students, who come from Saratoga, Encampment and Hanna, received their Sacrament of Confirmation.
The Sacrament of Confirmation was conducted during a Mass officiated by the Bishop of the Dioceses, the Most Reverend Steven R. Biegler. The students were instructed in the reception of the sacrament by Sarah Butler and Heidi Suttee under the guidance of the religious education director, Cathy Lynch, and Reverend Jason Marco, pastor of St. Ann's in Saratoga and St. Joseph's in Hanna.
Following the Confirmation Mass, a cake and punch reception was hosted by the Saratoga Council of Catholic Women.
The student who received the Sacrament of Confirmation were Jolynn Borah, Chase Brown, Zane Butler, Zoe Butler, Anthony Campbell, Easton Mason, Joleigh Shahadey, Koen Shahadey, Hayden Suttee and Savannah Suttee.
