It was an end to a season that was in danger of not happening at all as COVID-19 protocols tentatively let indoor sports events occur with the stipulation that they could be shut down at any time. It was great relief to wrestlers, coaches and fans that the wrestling season got to be completed.

Saratoga might not have produced any state champions this year, but they still had a strong showing and were able to get all their team to state this year. That certainly makes the team and wrestlers winners.
