Sifting through Sandy Beach

On Monday May 18, 2020 several families volunteered to clean up Sandy Beach. Christy Keel organized a group of moms in effort to make the beach safer for kids since her son cut his foot on some debris on the beach. Christy said, "There is a lot of mom's around that have kids who like to come and have a play date, we just find a lot of glass, golf balls and fire wood that is left and can't be burned. It makes it really dirty and dangerous for the kids to play.

Its fine to have gatherings in the evening but just remember that kids are there during the day".

Keel had contacted the Saratoga Sun in hopes of bringing awareness to the community. There are a lot of families with children like to come to the beach, for the safety of all beach goers, please pack out your trash an unused firewood.
