Judith K. Loudin

Judith Kay Loudin, resident of Saratoga, Wyoming, passed away on May 1, 2020, at Saratoga Care Center at the age of 79 years.

Judy was born on January 31, 1941, in Danville, Illinois. She attended Lake Shore Grade School, Pleasant Grove Grade School, and graduated from Oakwood Township High School in 1958. Judy graduated from the University of Illinois in 1962 with a BA in English Education and in 1971 with a Master's in English Education. She taught English at Danville High School, Jamaica Consolidated High School, Oakwood Township High School, and Danville Area Community College. Judy married Jack Loudin in 1976 and they have resided in Saratoga for a majority of their life together. After moving out West, Judy taught for the Western Wyoming Community College Outreach Program, owned a craft shop, designed handmade items, and worked as a massage therapist. Judy enjoyed playing the piano and organ, researching family history, hunting, fishing, and cross-country skiing. However, her true passion was pet rescue.

She will be sadly missed by her husband Jack Loudin, brother C.J. (Kim Gerk) Oakwood; nephews Dustin (Rhonette) Oakwood and Cody (Shauna) Oakwood; niece Kelli Oakwood; stepdaughters Wendy (the late John) Wright, Kathy Loudin-Anaya, and Jackqueline Holt; grandchildren Waylon (Tara) Wright, Amanda (Ian) Wright-Swanger, Ezekiel Anaya, Victoria Anaya, Isabelle Anaya, Bambi, Nick, and Derek; and great grandchildren Harper and Gwendolyn Swanger.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence G. "Runt" and Ethel Oakwood.

It was Judy's wish to be cremated and for her ashes to be spread in places of great importance from her life.

Memorial donations may be made to any local animal shelter or rescue, since saving animals was her greatest passion.

Jacoby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Tributes and condolences may be offered online at http://www.jacobycares.com.
