What’s new at the Saratoga Branch Library for March

We have a Toddler time on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. geared to ages 0-5. We focus on sensory, fine and gross motor skills. We have lots of fun while making friends. Story time is on Thursday’s at 4 p.m. geared to ages 5-12, but all are welcome to join. The more the merrier. We read chapter books and have fun with some sort of activity.

The Saratoga Friends of the Library will be meeting March 5 at 5 p.m. Come join the Friends and help organize and plan fun, interesting activities/programs that will come to your library.

Wyoming Free Tax Service, volunteer IRS certified tax preparers, will be here on March 12th from 1-5 p.m. If you want your taxes prepared or have questions come in and get some help.

The Carbon County Library System Board meets March 18th at 11 a.m. place TBA.

Francis and Janice Bergquist will be presenting a program titled “Raptors” on March 19th at 7 p.m. at the Saratoga Library.

If you need something to do on Spring Break come on in to the library to have fun doing:

• Craft Day – March 23 at 12:30 p.m.

• Frozen 2 movie – March 25 at 12:30 p.m.

We have several new books in: “Last Day” by Luanne Rice, “Death of Mrs. Westway” by Ruth Ware, “School Shootings: How Can We Stop Them?” “National Geographic Almanac 2019”, “Song of the River” by Joy Cowly, “Look What I See” by Judi Barret, “Princess Peppa and the Royal Ball” by Courtney Carbone. New audio books added are “Notorious” by Gordan Korman and “Broken Throne” by Victoria Aveyard. New dvd’s are “Playing With Fire” and “Nightingale”

Coming soon (March 3) is “Long Range” by C.J. Box. Come in and check it out or get your name on the hold list.
