Valley club makes second donation of car seats in two years to hospital program

The Saratoga Platte Valley Kiwanis Club recently donated two cars seats to Memorial Hospital of Carbon County (MHCC) for the hospital's Safe Kids Program. The car seats are used for parents that are unable to afford a car seat, have an expired car seat or for children that have been in an accident to provide a new car seat.
"Once a car seat has been in an accident, it needs to be replaced," said Jessica Seldomridge, MHCC OB Manager.
This donation from the Saratoga Platte Valley Kiwanis Club is the second donation in two years. Last year, the club also donated two car seats to MHCC's Safe Kids Program.
"We appreciate the donation," Seldomridge said. "It helps us better serve our patients."
