The word of the day for the Saratoga Planning Commission was “precedent” as they discussed multiple variances and the presence of Airbnb in town limits on Oct. 8 at Saratoga Town Hall. In terms of variances, all three discussions centered around variances previously passed or questions about variances in regards to accessory buildings. The question about Airbnb came up during the zoning officer’s report near the end of the meeting.
