Saratoga Museum trek to look at history of local cemeteries, first Carbon County Fair and CCC camp

From "boot hill," to a cemetery of beauty will be the theme of the Saratoga Museum Historic Trek of both the Cadwell and Saratoga Cemeteries Saturday
Announcement was made this week that in addition to history of Saratoga's cemeteries, folks on the Saratoga Museum trek Saturday, June 29th, will learn about the first Carbon County Fair which was held in Saratoga in 1910 as well as the Civilian Conservation Corp camp at the stone gates on the Pic Pike road.
Local historian and tour guide Dick Perue has put together a panel of "experts" to explore both the Cadwell and Saratoga cemeteries east of town as well as relate their histories and community efforts to beautify them.
