Hobgoblins coming

The Snow Queen to be performed using local children at PVCC Friday and Saturday

Journey with fun-loving Hobgoblins to the “land of colored ice” as they tell the tale of a young girl and her quest to find her best friend. You may find yourself believing in malevolent mirrors, yetis, talking reindeer, and snow chickens when the Missoula Children’s Theatre and more than 50 local students perform an original musical adaptation of The Snow Queen.

The local cast features Charli Powell as Gerda; Conner Konecny as her best friend, Kay; and Katharine Backen as the Snow Queen. Fiona Davis will play Gerda’s Grandma/Old Robber Woman, and Chloe Shumaker will play Kay’s Grandma/Lappish Woman. The Gardner Woman/Finnish Woman will be Jaylin Bowns. Graham Randall plays Bae; Douglass Campbell plays Yeti; Natalie Follum plays Little Robber Girl; and Mr. and Mrs. Crow will be Elijah Williams and Elizabeth Davis. Jack Davis and Mia Burks will play the Prince and Princess. The imaginative, fun-loving Hobgoblins are Brian Smith, Josie Little, Samantha Burks and Sophia Diaz. The Snow Animals are Hadley Jones, Reegen Jones and Maggie Elder. The Robbers will be played by Claire Ramiller, Bridget Randall, Ben Burks, Jackson Keel and Jack Chatfield. The Snow Chickens are Jason Shumaker, Edgar Faust, Madeline James, Maelynn Keel, Averie Sanchez, Kenzie Ramiller, Luke Chatfield, Ryan Follum, Jaxon Owen, Mary Mendez, Archer Burau, Harper Hamann, Karston Hull, Ryder Jones, and Sihauna Sanchez.
