Over 50 attend ice cream social in Hanna

It wasn't just ice cream at the First Baptist Church the ice cream social as many baked treats appeared made by the attendees.

The First Baptist Church in Hanna had an ice cream social starting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday and had over 50 people attend. In addition to the five types of ice cream, there were homemade cookies and fruit cobblers.

"The idea just sort of came up between all us," Rose Vaughn, a member of the church, said. "We wanted to have something for the community to get together and what is better than an ice cream social."

The ice cream was served in one room, but the crowd gathered not only in that room, but several others.
