A bullrider takes is ejected off a bull at the Platte Valley Rodeo on Saturday. There were four competitors in the bull riding event.
Children who attended the rodeo were more than spectators; they got to compete for prizes as well. Above, a group of children participate in the calf chase. The one who pulled the ribbon off the calf's tail won $50.
Father-and-son team Cody Cox and Wyatt Cox participate in the team roping competition. The father and son did a reprise performance after switching horses and positions and doing the competition again.
