Encampment seamstress wins state, heads to national wool competition.

For the second year in a row, Ashlynn Johnson will be representing Wyoming in the National Make It With Wool competition.

Johnson was named state winner last month in the Wyoming Make It With Wool competition held in Casper, Nov. 29-30. Johnson, a student at Encampment K-12 School, competes in the junior division.

Johnson also earned people's choice, a new category, which was voted on by those in attendance at the competition. Johnson also received the award, outstanding construction, in her age division. Winners received cash awards and prizes donated by businesses, rancher and others and...
