Local libraries to host snow programs this month


The Saratoga and Encampment Libraries are sponsoring the program “Snowbound? Snow Problem!” which offers activities for children 0-12.

Today, the children will be making snow dough at the library, where they can mold, sculpt and squash the dough.

In Saratoga the program is from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and in Encampment the program is from 4 to 5 p.m.

“Pop Open a Book” is the theme for young readers 5-12 years of ages, who are invited to open one good book after another and enjoy popcorn while reading. From 4 to 5 p.m. on Jan. 14, the Encampment Library will host “Pop Open a Book...
