Halloween party successful

There were two-and-a-half tables here for Duplicate Bridge on Monday. High winners were Sheila Johnson and Mary Sjoden. There was a tie for second high between Barb Wise and Vivian Campbell and Bob Johnson and Gertrude Herold.

We had a Halloween party up here on Saturday, Nov. 1. We had a pretty good turnout. Joni Johnson won first place in the costume contest with her Uncle Sam costume. Alice Cornell won second place with her Elvis costume. There were quite a few who dressed up and that made it so much more fun.

We want to wish Chris and Darlene Willis the very best. They have sold their house and will be moving Windsor, Colo. They have been coming here to have lunch for many years and we will all miss them very much.

We want to send our sincere sympathy to the family of Burt Willford. Burt passed away last week after a long battle with cancer. He will be missed by all of who knew him.

Also we want to send sincere sympathy to the Lester Westring family. Lester also passed away last week, He has been around the Valley for many years and we will all miss him.
