Manholes, meetings and meters

Repairs to Saratoga streets were discussed by members of the Saratoga/Carbon County Impact Joint Powers Board (Water and Sewer Board).

Town engineer Chuck Bartlett said that the town is going to try to set up a meeting with the Reimen Corporation concerning the meter project.

At the March Water and Sewer Board meeting, several members of the board were concerned with paying the $182,000 retainage to Reiman Corporation after several of the water meters, which were installed by Reiman, were not functioning properly.
