Riverside council looking toward park upgrades

 


With warmer weather coming soon, council members were planning for park maintenance and summer events at last Thursday’s Riverside Town Council meeting.

Riverside Town Clerk Jan Cook said she submitted a $5,500 recreation board grant request, which would go toward park maintenance and Riverside Party Day expenses. The Riverside Party Day is held annually in August at Rick Martin Memorial Park.
