Broke leg

Paul Hopkins, on Cow Creek, had the misfortune to have his horse fall with him Friday, while handling some cattle, and broke his right leg about four inches below the knee, both bones. Dr. Price was called from here and made a flying trip in a car and gave Mr. Hopkins the needed attention.

Mr. Hopkin’s father, W. A. Hopkins came in on the train Sunday from Colorado, where he was notified of the accident. He will undoubtedly be laid up for some time, with the fracture of both bones at that part of his leg. The doctor reports him doing nicely.
