The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) released its annual “report card” for America’s infrastructure and grades were less than adequate this year.
Town Engineer Chuck Bartlett shared the report with the Saratoga/Carbon County Impact Joint Power Board last month.
ASCE rated 16 different infrastructure categories ranging from aviation to wastewater with classifications for bridges, drinking water, schools and transit among others. Using a grading scale from “A+” to “F”, the cumulative G.P.A. came to “D+”.
