BLM Rock Springs launches ePlanning interactive website

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Rock Springs Resource Management Plan documents are now available through an interactive website known as “ePlanning”.

The ePlanning website brings Land Use Planning as well as the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process into one’s home or local library. With an Internet-connected computer, one can open and read land use planning and NEPA documents produced with ePlanning.

One can search for issues such as recreation, wildlife or energy. During the comment periods, one can easily submit comments online.

With ePlanning’s comment features, one can tie a comment to particular text right out of the land use planning or NEPA document. It has never been easier to communicate recommendations and preferences to public land managers.

“We hope this transition to the new interactive ePlanning website will engage even more people in the RMP process,” says Rock Springs RMP Project Manager William West. For further information, please contact William West at 307-352-0259. A link to the ePlanning website can be found at http://www.blm.gov/wy/st/en/programs/Planning/rmps/RockSprings.html
