Human remains identified

The human remains found in the Snowy Range last month have been identified as Lee Ramsey, of Osawatomie, Kan., according to the Carbon County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff Jerry Colson said the remains were identified using dental records and confirm that the remains are those of Ramsey, who was 61 years old when he disappeared.

On Aug. 4, 2006, a van belonging to Ramsy was found parked at the Tipple Trailhead parking area along Highway 130, Colson said.
