Revised North Platte River RAMP available for public comment


The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Rawlins Field Office (RFO) has made the revised North Platte River Recreation Area Management Plan (RAMP) and environmental assessment (EA) available for public comment until Sept. 6.

In response to public input, the RFO has completed site specific inspections and modified the RAMP to include the following preferred alternatives:

1. Boat-in Campground- Only a primitive campsite with boundary signs proposed.

2. Corral Creek Campground- Develop horse corrals and improve river access.
