Ladies play Stableford

A small group from the Saratoga Ladies Golf Team played “Stableford” July 11, with Lila Worden winning first place in first flight.

In Stableford, special points are given for birdies, pars, bogies and double bogies. One prize was given for first flight, as there were only two players.

For second flight, Valerie Larscheid placed first, Joy Hamilton placed second and Mariel O’Grady placed third. Larscheid was closest to the pin on #8.

The Saratoga Ladies Golf Team played a round of “Three Club Only” Thursday at the Saratoga Golf Course.

In this game play, each player chose three clubs they wanted to use for the day. For first flight, Lila Worden scored first place, Joni Johnson achieved second and Dawna Erickson and Nancy Facciani tied for third.

In second flight, Mariel O’Grady received first place, Joy Hamilton placed second and Marty Perue came in with a respectable third.
