Rodeo fans can get a taste of serious roping, riding and wrestling at the 17th annual Platte River Rodeo Association Rodeo this weekend at the Buck Springs Rodeo Arena.
According to Terri Hinkle, secretary for the Platte River Rodeo, the two-day rodeo features barrel racing, saddle bronc riding, team roping, mixed team roping, tie-down calf roping, steer wrestling, bareback riding and bull riding both Friday and Saturday night at the arena, Hinkle said the event will include amateur and semi-professional rodeo competitors of all ages.
