    The Encampment Town Council approved $50 for Encampment’s Jr./Sr. Prom for their March 29 post-prom activities. Council member Doreen Harvey said 2014 was a productive year for the Sierra Madre Winter Carnival.     The five-year study investigating the impact of seeding storm clouds in the Snowy Range and Sierra Madre Mountains will come to an end next month.     For the second time in two years, the Carbon County School District No. 2 Speech and Debate Team took home a 1A/2A State Champion Trophy from last weekend's 2014 Wyoming State High School Speech and Debate Tournament.     A Wyoming Game and Fish Department (WGFD) contractor will begin work on the Saratoga Lake dam crest and dam shoreline this Monday, installing rock rip rap for wave action erosion control on the earthen dam. The construction plan was designed by PMPC Engineering, which will act as the project’s general contractor and supervise all the necessary construction.
