Saratoga Hot Springs Resort bubbles with changes

The Saratoga Hot Springs Resort (Resort) recently gave their outside beer garden with a bit of a face lift. The ground had new chips put down and an outside bar has been constructed on a deck. It is apparent the guests and locals appreciate getting to enjoy the tree shaded area with how busy it has been since it opened about two weeks ago.

Cowboy Tough at Bank of Commerce

When Carbon County residents go to the Bank of Commerce (BOC) to do business, they will now be greated by a large bronze statue of a cowboy breaking in a horse.
The statue, "Cowboy Tough", was created by Chris Navarro and is a work of art BOC President and CEO Copper France had been looking for a period of time.
When people saw it, he wanted them to think of Carbon County and Wyoming.

Thrifty for 20 years

The Rawlins Thrift Exploratory Group (RTEG) is celebrating 20 years of providing service to Rawlins and Carbon County this month. In the two decades it has been in operation, however, the mission of RTEG (also known as the Rawlins Thrift Store) has changed.

Showcasing industry

To celebrate Industry Day in Carbon County, Yvonne Johnson, Director of the Carbon County Economic Development Corporation (CCEDC) held a day of touring local energy companies operations and a lunch where guest speakers spoke to those enrolled in the current class of Leadership Carbon County..
The start of the celebration began with a tour and presentation at the Holly Frontier (HF) Sinclair Refining Company.

Bringing change to the resort

The Saratoga Hot Springs Resort (Saratoga Resort) has had several reincarnations since a log building was erected on the present site of the resort in 1877.
