Try your luck at the PVCC 7th annual fundraiser

If you are lucky, you may go home with a piece of Saratoga history, or a vacation in St. Croix, Saturday night at the Platte Valley Community Center (PVCC).

Inspiring audiences through dance

Ballet Emmanuel, a Colorado Springs, Colo.-based Christian Ballet company, treated an audience to the world of inspirational dance at the Platte Valley Community Center Sunday evening.
The night began with three Christian-themed choreographed dance performances featuring local Platte Valley children aged 4 and up. The girls, separated into three age groups, learned their dances during special workshops earlier that Sunday.

Reaching for the stars

From contemporary-music ballads to two-minute piano stanzas, several local youth entertained audiences at the Stars of Tomorrow Talent Show on Sunday.
Nine different children, ranging from second grade to high schools, showed off their musical talents at the Platte Valley Christian Center. The show, put on by the Platte Valley Kiwanis, aims to help youth work on their talents and emphasize the importance of fine arts.
