Bev was born on February 1, 1941 in Laramie, Wyoming to Riley and Ruby Daniels. She joined a brother, Arthur, at home in Rawlins, Wyoming.
After graduating from Rawlins High School, Bev moved to Cheyenne where she met Tom Zator. They were married and moved to Connecticut. Together they had two daughters, Teri and Brenda.
